Corvus corone

The carrion crow (Corvus corone) is a passerine bird of the family Corvidae and the genus Corvus which is native to western Europe and the eastern Palearctic. Alongside its close relative, the formerly-conspecific hooded crow, the carrion crow occupies the same ecological niche in Europe as that of the American crow in North America.
