Ivory-billed Aracari

Pteroglossus azara

The ivory-billed aracari, or ivory-billed araçari (Pteroglossus azara), is a species of bird in the family Ramphastidae. It was named after the naturalist Félix de Azara.

It is found in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela.

Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
