The rufous-tailed antbird (Drymophila genei) is a species of bird in the family Thamnophilidae.

It is endemic to Brazil.

Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.

Although generally described as "common", it is becoming rare due to habitat loss.
